Glen Haven Farms hosts hundreds at annual Dundas Twilight Meeting last night

CRYSLER — In an annual tradition, hundreds of dairy farmers across the county rolled into the MacGregor family farm last evening for the yearly Dundas County Twilight family gathering.

Families were generously fed thanks to sponsors such as Green Tech John Deere of Winchester, Sontrac John Deere of Cumberland, and of course the Dundas County Holstein Club.

Visitors to Glen Haven Farms enjoyed roast beef, mashed potatoes, buns, a copious amount of salads, hamburgers, hotdogs, and a large selection of homemade desserts.

Children were entertained by a clown, face painting, farm equipment displays, and bouncy castles.

Tom and Janet MacGregor opened their barn doors to the public to showcase their new Lely milking robotic and feeding systems.

Stormont County is set to hold their Twilight gathering tonight in Berwick in a similar manner at the Sanders family’s Farside Farms.
