Weapons and stolen items seized in North Dundas drug bust

Four people charged

NORTH DUNDAS — Four people have been charged after law enforcement seized quantities of suspected methamphetamine, hydromorph contin and marijuana, at a County Rd. 13 address on May 9.

OPP Community Drug Action Team officers, the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit and SD&G OPP officers executed the search warrant at approximately 6 a.m.

The methamphetamine was found in crystal and pill form, according to police, who also seized a BB gun and cattle prod. Officers recovered stolen power tools and Honda pumps as well.

According to police, Joey Cinnamon, 37, of North Dundas is charged with:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (2 counts);
  • Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition (2 counts);
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking;
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance;
  • Fail to Comply with a Probation Order (4 counts).

Cinnamon was held in custody pending a Cornwall bail appearance.

Police say the other three individuals were charged May 11. They were released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg Court on June 6.

Meredith Pink, 45, of North Dundas Township is charged with:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (2 counts);
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking;
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts).

Philip Moyes, 36, of Ottawa is charged with;

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts);
  • Fail to Comply with Recognizance

Misty Hamlin, 36, of Ottawa is charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
