Senior Fashion Show over, looking ahead to Spring Fling Oscars Dance

Thank you to everyone who came to watch the Senior Fashion Show on Fri., May 5 in the gym at ND. The senior students showed off fashion from the ’60’s – ’90’s, as well as semi-formal wear, summer wear, ND wear, and Prom attire. The Prom dresses were generously donated by Juliannah’s Dress & Bridal in Moose Creek.

Students showed their support for the Ottawa Senators yesterday by wearing their Sens jerseys.

Grade 8 grad photo retakes will take place on Thurs., May 11 for any students who missed photo day or requested retakes.

The Spring Fling Oscars Dance will be taking place on Thurs., May 18 for Secondary students from 7-10 p.m. Tickets will be sold during lunch until Fri., May 12 for $10. The dance will take place in the courtyard of the school and if there is bad weather, the dance will be moved into the gym. Oscar awards will be awarded to students who were nominated and are present at the dance.

The Grade 12 grad gowns are here. Grade 12s are asked to pay $20 for their cap and gown that they get to keep after graduation.

The band exchange started at the beginning of this week. Students from Saskatchewan have come to North Dundas and will be performing at the school and in Ottawa.

Congratulations to the girls rugby team for winning their game against Holy Trinity 49-5. They will be playing St. Joe’s on Wednesday, as both North Dundas and St. Joe’s are tied for first.
