Clothing cut up in Russell domestic dispute; snowmobile stolen

EMBRUN — Russell County OPP say their officers responded to six domestic disputes last week.

One female was charged with one count of mischief after cutting up all her spouse’s clothing following a verbal argument, according to police.

A male was charged with assault, forcible confinement and overcome resistance by choking his girlfriend.

And a second male was charged for breaching his conditions.  No other criminal offences occurred in the investigated disputes.

Theft of snowmobile in Clarence Rockland

Russell County OPP Officers are currently investigating the theft of a blue 2017 Yamaha SR1 with Ontario licence number 2AM395.   The sled was stolen sometime overnight between February 7 and 8, after a thief or thieves forced their way into the garage portion of a home on Bouvier Road in Clarence-Rockland.
