Man charged with ‘intentionally’ ramming ex’s vehicle at Embrun Tim Horton’s; truck stolen in Limoges

EMBRUN — Russell County OPP say a young man intentionally crashed into his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle at Tim Horton’s in Embrun.

The 19-year-old male was arrested when police responded Jan. 27 to a collision at the restaurant parking lot. He’s been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Harassment, Forcible Confinement and Fail to Comply with his Probation order.

The accused was held in custody pending bail. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

Commercial truck stolen in Limoges

LIMOGES — A commercial vehicle has been stolen from a Limoges Road driveway.

Russell County OPP say the truck — which was locked — disappeared between 3 p.m. on Jan. 26 and 10 a.m. on Jan. 27.

Bearing Ontario licence plates AB40049, the vehicle is an orange/red/beige 1997 Ford F800 with a boom and man carrier. Anyone who may have any information on this crime is asked to contact the investigating Embrun office of the Russell County OPP at 613-443-4499.
